FE House | All Rooms | Soft Contemporary Style
LIVING ROOM
Warmth of wood and clean lines of contemporary interior design style are beautifully blended in this project, creating a 'Soft Contemporary' aesthetic. The primary objective was to establish contrast by maintaining light-colored main walls juxtaposed with dark-toned furniture. The soothing and refreshing dominance of olive green is paired with the invigorating contrast of orange, skillfully used together. To balance warmth and energy, cool tones such as navy can be sparingly introduced in accessories like rugs and cushions.
Marble is utilized as a unifying material in the TV area, dining area, and sitting area, serving as a harmonious element that seamlessly brings these three spaces together in this project.
MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom in this project embodies a serene and calming atmosphere, with the primary focus on fostering a tranquil sleep environment. The dominant color, navy blue, renowned for its ability to inspire trust and hasten sleep, is employed on the accent wall behind the bed. To soften the cool impact of navy blue and add a decorative touch, natural oak wood panels are integrated into the design. The furniture adopts a warm beige tone known as RAL1019, which is akin to coffee, further enhancing the room's inviting warmth.
In pursuit of enriching the contemporary style and introducing an element of warmth, brass has been skillfully used in the metal fixtures and accessories. This careful amalgamation of color, texture, and materials creates a cohesive, relaxing space that not only conforms to modern design principles but also promotes a restful and secure sleeping environment
TWINS' ROOMS
The design of these rooms caters to the individual preferences of the twins, a boy and a girl aged 6.
In the girl's room, yellow accents stimulate creativity while maintaining a calming white backdrop. Decorative pink and grey elements add extra charm. The boy's room adopts a calming blue palette, balanced with warm shades of red or deep orange.
Both rooms, while unique in their color schemes, mirror each other in functionality, featuring bunk beds with guest beds, character-themed focal walls, wardrobes, bookshelves, toy storage, poufs, future-proof dresser areas, and study spaces. The use of color on the walls allows for effortless adaptation as the children grow, without the need to replace furniture.
The children's preferences were taken into consideration in the color selection.
GUEST ROOM and HOME OFFICE
This multi-purpose room, designed with minimalistic clean lines, effortlessly accommodates guests and facilitates productive work. The warmth of the wooden bookshelf, which doubles as a feature wall and storage, invites a sense of calm. A comfortable bed, in neutral tones, passively complements the minimalist aesthetic. Similarly, a workstation is discretely integrated into the room, underlining the principle of functionality without compromising style or comfort. This room exemplifies a tasteful balance of practicality and aesthetic appeal in interior design.
ENTRANCE HALL
The design of the entrance hall creates a harmonious transition to the rest of the home, thanks to a custom marble and wood console table. Balancing the table's angular design, a round brass mirror adds a touch of contrast and luxury, elevating the overall aesthetic of the space. This thoughtful use of contrasting shapes and materials sets the tone for the style continuity seen throughout the rest of the home.
